When Baby Liddell arrives in October, Annie isn't going to know what hit her. Her world is going to turn upside down with all the attention {eeek...} on something other than HER! But I'm not worried! You can see for yourself that Annie is already a great "helper" and I'm confident that she'll be a great big sister. For other dog lovers... How did you introduce your furbaby to your new baby??

I'm sure she'll also "help" with dirty diapers, stinky laundry, and baby toys. ;)
P.S. I'm 30 weeks (30 weeks 3 days to be exact) pregnant! Almost to the single digit countdown!! AND I think I finally found a cribset that I like.... pics coming soon!

Just wanted to say your blog looks really cute! I don't have any tips with the pup and the baby but I wish you luck! Hope you're last few weeks of pregnancy go well :)
Sadie actually adjusted PRETTY good assuming her crazy life of living with the in laws when we brought her home there and then packing, moving and unpacking. all we did to introduce her, was the day we brought kyleigh home, chris went downstairs and played with her for alittle while alone, then I went down for a bit for alittle while AND THEN chris brought kyleigh down. she did pretty good. we started teaching her " Gentle" quite a while before she Kyleigh was born. All looks awesome, have fun your last few weeks, its a blast! I go back after this week and im REALLY sad, I wanna be a stay home mom!! Take care hun!
Our Kuna dog, also a lab, did great when we brought Alaina home. Scott picked her up and brought her into the house while I held baby. She was so thrilled to be home she hardly noticed the baby right away, after she calmed down she sniffed and licked Alaina some, but we were sure to give Kuna extra love. Since she was a puppy we had always taught her to not growl about food, to take treats gently and accept rough handling. The kids can climb on her, have pulled ears, poked eyes and stole food with never a hint of aggression. Labs are so great! You'll love the bond they'll form. Annie probably already knows more about what is coming thatn you think. Kuna seemed to know I was pregnant before I did. It can be challenging to keep all babies things from the dog however. I sobbed when I was in labor with Alaina, sad, worried for how things were going to change for the dog. :-)
